The Shelter

The Shelter is the downstairs bar at St Andrews Hall in Detroit, and it's always got great live entertainment and bustling crowds. Every major act that has gotten its start in Detroit has played here, so if you're a novice star spotter you'll want to try honing your skills (or just showing them off) right here. The drink prices are fairly cheap despite being strong and good. You can get a 24oz Pabst Blue Ribbon for just six dollars! That's a lot of buzz for your buck.
