Sweetwater Tavern

Sweetwater Tavern is easily recognizable by its familiar green awnings that reach out toward Congress Street to welcome visitors. We're hooked on the Cajun wings here, marinated overnight in a secret sauce, cooked just right without under- or over-cooking, juicy and spicy at the same time. That's their specialty and they always get it right. Many people travel in from out of the area just for the wings! The drink prices here are a little higher than at other bars in the area, but we say it's worth it for the atmosphere and the quality. The service is usually very good here, but on busy days you may have to wait a bit longer than usual. We love this place!
