An eclectic bar that is converted from a 1900s era railroad ticket station, the Grand Trunk Pub is a unique and unforgettable experience located in the heart of Downtown Detroit, right off of Campus Martius. The first thing you'll notice about Grand Trunk, past the breath-taking architecture of the place, is the remarkable drink menu. You'll need a bookmark while looking over their beer menu, which sports Michigan breweries such as Short's, New Holland, and even The Jolly Pumpkin. Their specialty cocktails such as the Aviation or Tom Collins are sure to please, and their happy hour specials are sure to please even more. Their menu is also nothing to shake a stick at, between their delicious burgers, sandwiches, Fish & Chips, meatloaf, and appetizers, you won't need to look very hard for reasons to stay. Brunch at Grand Trunk is amazing as well--their lobster omelette being particularly good and their Mimosa/Bloody Mary are a great reason to spend any weekday morning there.
